Antsje Hofstra
I am Antsje Hofstra, 63 years old, living in Friesland with Jan and our dog Novi. I am the mother of three children, and we have four grandchildren. I started with Beyuna over three years ago.
Before joining Beyuna, I had various jobs, both as an employee and as an entrepreneur. I owned a children's clothing store called “Rakkers Kinderboetiek” in Joure, which also included a sewing studio. I designed and made children’s clothing myself. I did this for almost ten years but stopped for health reasons. We also ran a calf collection facility, and I used to work three days a week in overalls covered in dirt. Being an entrepreneur is truly the best; you don’t have to deal with a boss. However, it is very hard work. I still have my sewing studio, and I now make “de Wolkom” on demand, a slow cooker made of pure wool and cotton.
Testimonial
Why did I start with Beyuna? Many years ago, I became very conscious of my health. Regarding food, we started eating organic as much as possible. I have my own vegetable garden and buy as much as I can locally. Alongside this, I began taking vitamins and minerals. In September 2021, we attended a demonstration in Joure, where I met a lovely lady, Carole van er Harst. We had a conversation about health and supplements. I told her which brand of vitamins I was using, and she said, “You can do better.” I didn’t want to believe it, but the following Monday, I joined her in Surhuisterveen, where Paul, the owner and product developer of Beyuna, gave a presentation. I immediately became a big fan of Paul. At home, I grabbed my vitamins, and sure enough, they were full of synthetic ingredients. Out they went! I wanted Beyuna’s vitamins and minerals, and I decided to become a distributor. The only problem was that we didn’t have a penny to our name.
You’d think that by the time you’re (then) 60, you’d have everything figured out. And we did, until Jan had an accident while working in construction. Jan is self-employed, and after years of struggles, we were evicted from our farmhouse, which we had spent 16 years renovating. Suddenly, we didn’t have a home anymore. Fortunately, our camper was ready, and we lived in it with our three dogs for a year and a half. Then I saw Beyuna’s earning model: no costs for premises, staff, energy, etc. Starting a business for 250 euros? That’s nothing! (even though I could barely afford it). But I also saw that if I started at the Mercury position with 3,000 euros, I would always get a 15% discount. I borrowed money from my son, and together with other business partners, I worked my way up to the Jupiter position in six months! I was thrilled!
What I love about Beyuna is that there’s no hierarchy; we are all equals. We learn so much, and there is such a wealth of knowledge within Beyuna. The collaboration with colleagues is, in my opinion, unique. Besides that, I had physical complaints that I thought I would have to live with, but after two years of using Beyuna supplements, I no longer have them. I feel amazing!
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and you have to seize it. What other company would have allowed us to rebuild at our age? After three years, I have now doubled our income, which is incredible!"
Your life with Beyuna becomes so much more enjoyable
Financially, we were at rock bottom, but with Beyuna in our lives, we are able to rebuild at 63 and 62 years old, creating a pension and a legacy income. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and you have to seize it. What other company would have allowed us to rebuild at our age? After three years, I have now doubled our income, which is incredible! I no longer stress about money, something we dealt with for years. I can buy nice things again. Money truly makes you happy—or rather, the lack of money makes you unhappy.
Beyuna means so much to me; it’s hard to put into words. What I love is that Jan is also involved, and we can work together! My goal is to earn 3,000 euros a month and then grow to 10,000 euros a month. We are building a team with great people. We want to help others achieve health—both physical and mental—and also earn extra income.
I see our future as bright: traveling, freedom, and financial independence. I am very grateful to Carole for tapping me on the shoulder. We have become close friends with Carole and Nico, and I am so happy to be part of the Beyuna family with all these wonderful people.
No matter what life throws at you, you have to keep going and think in terms of solutions. When I was 21 years old and four months pregnant, my then-husband was shot and killed in a pub. I picked up the pieces and moved forward. I’m sharing this not for pity, but to make a statement. You have to let go and move on. Start with Beyuna and never stop. It’s not always easy; there will be setbacks, but never give up. You become stronger and more confident, and it only gets better. Your life with Beyuna becomes so much more enjoyable. I am deeply grateful!
